we are headed north to the sea for a few days as a little tribe of three for a little r & r. there is nothing on the horizon but morning fires, hot tubbing under the stars, slow meals cooked together, books, board games, sea shell collecting and bike rides to the sea. and a whole lot of family time under the covers.
my soul is already breathing slower at the thought of this much needed restoration. and perhaps this break from our day to day will reignite the writer's block that has hit me so hard this winter.
the last time we went to this particular part of the world, we were dating, just getting to know each other, starry-eyed and shy. three years later, i still feel the very same way, except it's multiplied tenfold.
